The PW Center is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit learning center in the San Franciso Bay area. It was founded in Maine in 1985 by Linda Trichter Metcalf, Ph.D., and Tobin Simon, Ph.D., to spread the word about Proprioceptive Writing (PW), a groundbreaking practice that has been promoting creativity, emotional health, and spiritual awakening since 1978. The PW Center sponsors online courses in PW, private PW therapy, group workshops, a PW teacher certification program, and other activities that promote the practice of PW.
