THE PROSE POEM: 6 week online poetry workshop As a poetic form the prose poem is still in its youth and invites experimentation. This course is about participating in the prose poem experiment by writing your own. You post a prose poem or a revised draft of one weekly. Your teacher posts discussions on the prose poem in particular and on poetry in general. He then shows you what in your draft works as a poem and, perhaps, what doesn’t.
